Celebrating outstanding achievements in the fields of music, television, and film, the Joy Awards has garnered a reputation as the Middle East’s answer to the Grammys, Emmys, and Oscars rolled into one. Now in its fourth year, the awards saw the very best in Arab talent joined by a packed roster of global A-listers – including Christina Aguilera, who performed a spectacular opening set – for a star-studded ceremony at Riyadh’s anb arena.
With the show produced by MBC in collaboration with Done+Dusted, STUFISH Entertainment Architects was entrusted with a multifaceted role on the project. As well as overseeing the design of the main auditorium, the STUFISH team took the lead on the lavender carpet experience for guests’ arrival, press interviews and an outdoor performance, as well as the custom-designed set pieces for various performance acts throughout the ceremony.
“Our goal was to achieve a modern, sleek design with faceted geometry, reflecting the qualities of a diamond maintaining a timeless and elegant feel,” stated Dio Toumazis, Project Lead for STUFISH on the Joy Awards. “Our aim was to fully immerse the audience in a cohesive design where every element feels seamlessly integrated.
