The newly launched Sennheiser SpeechLine Digital Wireless system.

Sennheiser today announced its participation at InfoComm MEA taking place in Dubai from 6 to 8 December 2016. The company intends to focus on its range of audio solutions for meeting and conference purposes, and for the first time globally, will demonstrate its new wireless gooseneck microphone for its SpeechLine Digital Wireless system.

“This system was created to be the first to meet the demand for a wireless microphones dedicated purely to speech. It offers easy installation and operation, a high level of reliability and future-proof technology to deliver supreme speech clarity,” said Ryan Burr, Technical Sales Manager at Sennheiser Middle East. SL Tablestand 153-S DW and SL Tablestand 133-S DW, the company’s new wireless base units for SpeechLine Digital Wireless, feature wireless induction charging and can be conveniently monitored and controlled by Sennheiser’s Control Cockpit.

Another highlight of Sennheiser’s participation will be the set of live demonstrations of its flagship TeamConnect system. “Each day, we will run three 30 minute live demonstrations of this system by conferencing with our colleagues in Germany via Skype for Business. As they switch between table and ceiling mics, attendees will get to witness first-hand the features and benefits of each option,” explained Burr.

As with previous editions of the show, Sennheiser will be present together with its local distributor, Venuetech. “Together we will be able to discuss the latest product developments from Sennheiser and get a feel for how the market in the Middle East is likely to evolve in the coming 12 – 18 months,” said Burr. Among these developments is Audio over IP (AoIP), an upcoming trend that calls for a closer working relationship between audio specialists such as Sennheiser and traditional system integrators.

In addition to the global debut of the wireless gooseneck microphone for the SpeechLine Digital Wireless system, and demonstrations of its TeamConnect audio conferencing solution, Sennheiser will highlight MobileConnect. This is an assistive listening system that uses the BYOD principle via an app for those who need assistance in hearing. “For this too, we will run active demonstrations throughout the show with our staff members having devices set up with the app,” said Burr.

Sennheiser will be present at Booth Z5-A1 at the show.
