3DB has significantly boosted its lighting and networking capabilities, incorporating an array of advanced Chauvet lighting fixtures and Luminex networking equipment into its inventory. This strategic investment positions 3DB as one of the region’s largest stockists of Chauvet Mavericks, empowering them to deliver cutting-edge lighting experiences across a range of event types and sizes.
Among the new additions are 3DB’s 38 Chauvet Maverick Storm 2 Profile units and 30 Maverick Storm 2 Beam Wash fixtures, known for their high output and versatile functionality. The Rogue Outcast 1 Beam Wash—also with 38 units in stock—offers compact, powerful performance, ideal for events requiring efficient, dynamic lighting. The Chauvet Colorstrike M fixtures, with 30 units now in the lineup, serve as striking LED panel strobes, perfect for creating impactful visual moments.
To further support this enhanced lighting setup, 3DB has also invested in Luminex networking technology, including the Luminode 12 and Gigacore 20t and Gigacore 10 units, which streamline data distribution and ensure smooth communication between lighting systems.
With a busy season of projects ahead, Jack Kelly – Lighting Designer/Project Manager at 3DB shared insights on the selection process: “When evaluating options, we focus on output, functionality, build quality, and cost. Chauvet exceeded our expectations, meeting all three criteria seamlessly. We wanted specific types of fixtures—profiles, large and compact washes, and LED panel strobes—and Chauvet’s offerings stood out in tests against other brands. This streamlined our sourcing and ensured consistency across our setup.”
Since integrating these new products, 3DB has seen immediate improvements in both event quality and operational efficiency. The fixtures’ compact size and high output have won praise from both 3DB’s internal lighting team and clients, particularly due to the IP65 rating, which makes them ideal for both indoor and outdoor events. For example, at the recent UFC 308 Fanzone event outside Etihad Arena, the Chauvet fixtures delivered brighter reds and smoother movements, creating an impactful atmosphere that elevated the fan experience.
Clients have also commended the new inventory, appreciating the powerful output and sleek, compact design of the fixtures. Internally, 3DB’s team noted easier setup due to the consistent menu screens across all Chauvet fixtures, as well as reduced power consumption and weight, contributing to greater efficiency and cost savings.
This expansion was made possible through 3DB’s partnership with NMK Electronics, which facilitated the acquisition of a substantial inventory of Chauvet fixtures. NMK’s support was instrumental in securing a competitive deal, allowing 3DB to expand its resources without compromising on quality.
Jesse Dullabh from NMK Electronics commented: “It’s been a pleasure working with 3DB to help bring this impressive array of Chauvet and Luminex products into their setup. Our goal has always been to support our clients in achieving the best outcomes for their projects, and we’re thrilled that these fixtures are already making such a positive impact. We look forward to continuing our partnership with 3DB and seeing their event experiences reach new heights.”
“Our partnership with NMK has been invaluable,” added Jack from 3DB. “Their guidance and support have enabled us to expand our stock significantly, helping us stay competitive while enhancing our event capabilities. We’re excited to continue this collaboration and look forward to further expanding our inventory with NMK’s support.”
With this significant addition of Chauvet and Luminex products, 3DB is poised to continue leading Qatar’s event production industry, providing clients with unparalleled quality and impactful lighting solutions.
